From the series: “Homebody”. This series began with an interest in the concept of Hygge, a term from Danish, stands for a cozy atmosphere and joy in life. It describes a feeling of warmth, comfort, and familiarity.
It is not only about cozy interior design, but also about calm activities: such as lighting a candle, snuggling into a warm blanket, enjoying a hot drink on the couch, or getting lost in the story of a great book.
The connection between Hygge and the idea of being a homebody ultimately inspired this series, as the artworks reflect the sensations associated with these two concepts.
